The Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution (SCAI) was established in 2012 by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Lugano, Neuchâtel and Zurich. The institution administers domestic and international cases.
The Swiss Rules of International Arbitration adopted by SCAI are applicable to both international and domestic arbitrations, as they replaced former domestic arbitration rules of the individual chambers of commerce.
